15. Outdoor Classroom
The outdoor acoustical gem is Hamline's official outdoor classroom and a favorite spot on campus. Set between Giddens/Alumni Learning Center and Drew Science Center, the classroom is acoustically constructed to project the sounds made within it throughout campus -- leading to an unofficial designation as the "Power Circle." This facet makes it the perfect choice for Hamline's popular Africa, Music, and Cultural Production class, which meets regularly in the circle throughout the spring, amplifying their drumbeats to the delight of others across campus.
Thanks to its appealing location between a few of Hamline's architectural beauties, the outdoor classroom is a great place to schedule class during the warm fall and spring months.
