14. Giddens/Alumni Learning Center
The main arches of the former Carnegie Library greet visitors to the Giddens/Alumni Learning Center--a historical marker in a modern building. The Learning Center houses classrooms, study areas, a large auditorium, an art gallery, and lounge space.
Undergraduate students spend countless hours in this building, the homebase of many academic departments in the College of Liberal Arts, such as anthropology, English, legal studies, modern languages, philosophy, religion, psychology, education, and sociology. The Giddens/Alumni Learning Center also is a good place to track down professors in these departments. Stop by during their office hours to get help with class assignments, career search, or extracurricular pursuits.
