8. Bush Student Center

Bush Student Center provides a variety of student services in a building conveniently connected to Walker Fieldhouse and Hutton Arena. 

The home of Hamline's Student Activities staff, the student center is a popular place for student organizations to convene and hold events. With a first-floor lounge and a spacious second-floor ballroom, students have a variety of places to meet.

Students buy books and Piper gear at the main floor bookstore. The lower level houses more student offices as well as the Commuter Connections, a place offering the amenities of on-campus living for those who live off campus. The chapel, located on the second floor, offers a home for students seeking religious or spiritual exploration.

Home of Hamline's swimming and diving team, Hamline's pool connects to the adjacent Walker Fieldhouse. This professional athletic facility is also available to students, faculty, and staff for use during open swim hours.

The building is named for A.G. Bush, a former executive vice-president and chairman of the executive committee of 3M and a Hamline trustee.
