Students spend countless hours in Bush Memorial Library throughout their time at Hamline. The 83,210 square foot facility holds thousands of books, magazines, and periodicals, as well as online research resources. Pipers can chat with a reference librarian online and take study breaks on the library's Facebook page where staff members post fun facts and videos.
The library also offers classes for students and faculty and staff members that show them how to best use the library's resources for their research and scholarly purposes. Library liaisons are available for subject-specific assistance and instruction. The library also houses the university's archives, which hold thousands of historical items including photographs, memorabilia, yearbooks, and letters.
Located in the lower level of Bush Library, the Writing Center is a resource available to all students--undergraduate, graduate, law, and professional. Need help getting started on your writing project, revising your essay, citing sources, polishing your style, or preparing a piece for publication? The Writing Center can help!
