This time, the Pipers staged the rally. Down 2-0 after two periods, HU forward Jordan Verleye scored twice in a 32-second span in the first minute of the final frame to lift Hamline to a 2-2 OT at St. Olaf Friday night.

It was Hamline's third OT game of the last four played. Hamline is 1-4-2 overall and now 0-2-1 in the MIAC.

Verleye shared the hero honors with goalie Sarah Schneekloth (pictured), who kicked away 42 shots, including 17 in the third period and four more in overtime.

After seeing the Oles get a goal in each of the first two periods, Verleye then teamed up with Jenny Magill twice to even matters.

The teams face off in a rematch Saturday, November 17, at Warner Coliseum. Game time is 8:00 p.m.
