Talk about a big challenge. The Piper football team looks to end a five-game losing streak against league leader (and No. 3 in the country) St. Thomas. Game time at Klas Field is a little later than usual -- 1:10 p.m. The Tommies (6-0, 4-0 MIAC), who were NCAA D-III semifinalists last year, come in off a 37-0 win over Bethel last Saturday at home. HU (1-5 overall, 0-5 MIAC) lost 63-14 at Concordia last Saturday despite a pair of TDs from Austin Duncan. With 502 rushing yards, Duncan remains on pace to finish with the most yards gained by a HU back in 16 years.
HU also enters the game with the league's top punter in John Broback, who is averaging 42.9 yards per boot.
The game is available via Hamline's webcast and will be aired locally in the Twin Cities on WCCO-AM radio (830).
