Women's Soccer At St. Thomas Saturday

Womens soccer

Coming off its first win over St. Olaf in five years, the Piper women's soccer team (6-2-1, 1-2-1 MIAC) now hopes to extend its good fortune away from Paterson Field. Five of their next seven matches are on the road, starting Saturday at St. Thomas (4-4, 3-1 MIAC).

Hamline's 1-0 win over the Oles Tuesday afternoon was their first since 2007. Ironically, their last win over the Tommies came in the same season.Last year, the teams battled to a 1-1 tie. Bri Garside had the Piper goal.

The Pipers have been doing it with solid defense. All six of their wins this year have come via the shutout. Their opponents know the feeling. All of UST's wins have come via the same route. A live broadcast feed of the game can be found by clickinghere.
