Busy Weekend For Volleyballers

Karley Kilian attack

The intensity should pick up quite a bit this weekend for the Hamline volleyball team. In a span of  22 hours, the Pipers play a pair of matches that could move them back into the thick of the MIAC playoff race. HU is 13-3 overall but 0-3 in the MIAC. They will host Carleton (12-4, 2-2 MIAC) tonight at Hutton Arena in a 7:00 p.m. match. Both teams won their last time out. Hamline has some tight moments but swept away Bethany Lutheran, 3-0, Tuesday in Mankato. The next night, Carleton marched into St. Peter and came away with a taut 3-2 win over the Gusties.

The match will be webcast and live stats are also available on the front page of the website.

Tonight's match starts a string that will see Hamline play five of their next six matches at Hutton. The lone road trip will be Saturday, September 29, at 3:00 p.m. when the Pipers travel to Bethel (9-6, 0-3 MIAC), who host tonight. A live stats feed for that match is available by clicking here.
