That was because the Oles went on a 14-2 run in a four minute span. After that, the final score was the closest Hamline would get for the rest of the game.
Al Tillman came off the bench to lead the Piper offense with 12 points. Mike Campbell scored just one field goal but went 8-9 from the free throw line and had four steals. For the game, the Pipers connected on 12 treys, their second best output of the season. But they also committed 17 turnovers and were victimized for 10 steals. Hamline did outrebound St. Olaf, 35-34 with Campbell and Dior Ford leading the way with five each.
