Hawker's Debut Impressive in 112-83 loss at St. Mary's

Hannah Hawker knows how to make an entrance. Taking part in her first meet of the year, the first-year swimmer won one race and was on a pair of relay winners in a 112-83 dual meet loss at St. Mary's. In addition to Hawker, Rachel Ronnander recorded a solo win in the 50 yard Freestyle.

Hawker beat the field to claim the 100 yard Backstroke. She, Ronnander, Erin Weslander and Michelle Vargason got the day off to a good start with a win in the 200 Yard Medley Relay. Later, Hawker teamed up with Mak Hayes, Ingrid Haugan and Hannh Hankins for a win in the 200 yard Freestyle Relay. Haugan finished second in the 1 meter Diving competition, finishing with 164.35 points.

The Pipers are off until January 27 when they will host Concordia in a 6:00 p.m. meet.
