Pipers Grab Four Seconds At St. Olaf Triangular

The steady improvement in Ingrid Haugan, Ben Smidt and Corbin Conliffe was in full display Saturday at the St. Olaf triangular. The trio all took home second place finishes in the meet with St. Olaf and Macalester that was held in Northfield Saturday.  Both teams lost the team totals portion of the competition. Haugan finished second in the 1-Meter Diving competition, scoring 202.20 points. Smidt continued to stand out as one of the conference's better Butterfly swimmers, taking home second place in both the 100 and 200 yard competition. Conliffe earned his runner-up spot in the 100 IM and also turned in a solid fourth in the 100 yard Backstroke.

Zack Lameyer finished a solid third in the 1000 yard Freestyle.

Haugan teamed with Erin Weslander, Makenzie Hayes and Hannah Hankins for a third place finish in the 200 Freestyle Relay.
