Who needs NFL playoff games when you have a quartet of games to keep track of? Hamline's men's and women's basketball, hockey and swimming teams are all in action Saturday afternoon. We have links for all the games. The men's BB team, fresh off a big win over Carleton, hosts St. John's this afternoon at 3:00 p.m. at Hutton Arena. Both teams are 3-2 in what is rapidly becoming a very competitive MIAC race. Click on the front page of the website for a link to the webcast of the game.
The women's BB team (3-4 MIAC, 4-6 overall) looks to make it three in a row when they travel to St. Joseph to face St. Benedict at 3:00 p.m.. The Pipers defeated Augsburg and Carleton at home earlier this week. The Blazers are also 3-4 in the conference (6-4 overall). The St. Ben's website offers several options for the game. The swimmers, back from a training trip (with a meet tossed in) at an outdoor pool in Arizona in late December, dive into action this afternoon in a meet at St. Olaf. In addition to the Oles, the Pipers will also face Macalester in what will be a good test to see where they stand in the conference.
That's a full slate but the action doesn't stop there. On Sunday, HU's gymnastics hosts a quad meet with Gustavus, UW-Whitewater, and UW-Stout at Walker Fieldhouse. The meet begins at 1:00 p.m.
