Women's Hockey Makes It Three In A Row With Win At St. Norbert's; Play Concordia today

This is the type of streak a coach could learn to love. Corinne Henning's goal early in the third period proved to be the difference as Hamline's women's hockey team made it three wins in a row with a 2-1 decision at St. Norbert's. 

 
Nicole Jones stopped 24 shots in goal and held off a last-second Green Knights surge to gain the win.
 
SNC opened the scoring in the first period but newcomer Sam Berger, playing in his first game, scored late in the session to tie the game. It stayed glued at 1 until 1:24 of the final frame when Henning converted a feed from Jordan Verleye for the winning tally. 
 
The Pipers fired a season high 41 shots in winning their consecutive game over a Badger state opponent. Hamline is  now 4-6-1 overall and will play at Concordia (WI) Saturday afternoon. The Faclson are 6-5 after a 3-2 loss to St. Cathaerine's Friday  night. You can watch the game online by clicking on this link.
