Aileen Scheibner Named To All-MIAC Team

Talk about a great opening act. Aileen Scheibner's first year playing college soccer was a very successful one. She tied for the conference lead in points (29) and was second in goals (12). The rest of the league took note as she became the only freshman named to the 20-member All-Conference team. The Woodbury, Minn. native helped the Pipers to their first plus .500 MIAC mark (5-4-3) ever and a tie for most wins in school history (10) by leading her team in nearly every offensive category there is. Her final totals of 12 goals and 29 points rank third all-time in HU history for single season efforts.

Scheibner's two senior teammates -- D Courtney McMoore and GK Liz Stock --  drew Honorable Mention notices. Stock, who is a finalist for the COSIDA Academic All-American team, double dipped by being named to the Sportsmanship Team as well.
