Larson Preps Law Student Division National Arbitration Competition

David Allen Larson, professor in the Hamline School of Law, spent the weekend of September 6 - 7 at the American Bar Association (ABA) headquarters in Chicago completing preparations for the 2013 - 2014 ABA Law Student Division National Arbitration Competition.

Professor Larson is one of three faculty members from three different law schools who supervised the regional and national competition rounds, drafted the rules and administrative guides, and reviewed and revised the case file. Leading arbitrators, judges, and lawyers from across the country participated as judges. Nearly 200 students participate annually in the arbitration competition at the regional levels, with winning teams advancing to the National Arbitration Finals held at the ABA headquarters.
