Hamline School of Business Professor James Hagen was elected vice president of the Association of Japanese Business Studies (AJBS). Hagen was elected at the association's annual conference in Istanbul, on July 2. AJBS is a 26 year-old organization that brings together scholars from Japan and around the world to share expertise on business in Japan. Hagen lived in Japan for over four years and is frequently invited to conduct graduate seminars there on international marketing and business strategy topics. He participated at the AJBS conference this year as the opening plenary session panelist.
