Tweedy to Speak at University of Minnesota

Hamline School of Law Assistant Professor Ann Tweedy will speak at the Association of Law, Property and Society Conference at the University of Minnesota School of Law on April 27.

Her talk is titled, "Unjustifiable Expectations: Laying to Rest the Ghosts of Allotment-Era Settlers." Tweedy spoke on employment discrimination against bisexuals at the University of Minnesota Law School on April 19 as part of a program sponsored by the OUTLaw student group. She also spoke on tribal same-sex marriage laws at the Federal Bar Association Indian Law Conference in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on April 12.
