Briones honored by MN Justice Foundation

Hamline University School of Law weekend JD student Carrie Briones received the Minnesota Justice Foundation’s (MJF) 2012 Outstanding Service Award at the organization’s 30th anniversary celebration on November 15. MJF annually honors Minnesota legal professionals for their exemplary service to low-income clients. Current law students are also honored for their volunteer commitment.

The Minnesota Justice Foundation was incorporated in 1982 by Minnesota law students concerned about their role within the community. For 28 years MJF has secured legal aid for thousands of under-represented Minnesotans by coordinating the efforts of volunteer law students and attorneys.
