Three weeks isn't that far in the feature. That's when Hamline's men's team will defend its threepeat at MIAC Cross Country champs and the women look to move up in the lexicon of teams. They will get an idea of where they stand by noon Saturday after competing in a meet at St. Catherine's.
The women will face Luther, Macalester, St. Olaf, St. Ben's, St. Kate’s and St. Thomas in the 4K race that is scheduled to start at 11:00 a.m. The men will tangle with Luther, St. John’s and St. Thomas at the same distance at 11:30 a.m. The layout is a little unusual. The course is a 2K loop that is run twice. It is mostly grass, with a short segment on a trail in the woods. It will be lined with cones, flags and paint. Start line is along the row of pine trees. Finish line is behind the outfield fence of the softball field on the St. Kate's campus. Click here for a link to a Google map of it.
