The Hamline volleyball team ran into a St. Ben's team that lived up to its nickname. The Blazers won their sixth straight match, defeating HU, 3-0, at Claire Lynch Hall in St. Joseph Wednesday night. Katie Ayres'six kills led the HU offense. Sammie Miller had 11 assists and Lynsey Reimer (pictured) picked up 12 digs. But HU fell behind early in all games, losing 10-25, 8-25, and 14-25. As a result, the Pipers dropped to 12-2 overall, 0-2 in the MIAC.

HU will play at St. Olaf Saturday. Please note the match will start at 1:00 p.m. instead of the usual 3:00 p.m. time in Northfield.
