John Brandon Joins CWP faculty

John has also published numerous short stories and essays in such magazines as Oxford American, The New York Times Magazine, McSweeney’s Quarterly Concern, Tampa Review, GQ Magazine, and The Believer. Currently a Tickner Writing Fellow at the Gilman School in Baltimore, MD, John taught previously at the University of Mississippi from 2009-2011 as the Grisham Fellow in Creative Writing. He received his MFA from Washington University in St. Louis.

We are thrilled to have John join our faculty and our CWP community. He will be teaching “Groundings in the Craft: Elements of Fiction” (MFA) and “Forms & Elements in the Craft I: Fiction” (BFA) in the fall. He also will be advising students and serving on capstone committees. He, his wife, and four-year-old son will be moving to the Twin Cities sometime this summer. Welcome!
