Professor Marisam speaks to media


Professor Jason Marisam spoke to the Pioneer Press and WCCO radio about a federal appeals court ruling in which a Rochester, Minn., woman who refused to stand when a judge entered the courtroom during her trial last year may have had a religious right to keep her seat.

Professor Marisam, who has lectured on the free exercise of religion in constitutional law, said the tension between the secular and religious often winds up in court.
