Kristin Mapel Bloomberg Gives Keynote Talk

On Thursday, April 19, Kristin Mapel Bloomberg, professor of women's studies and the Hamline University Endowed Chair in the Humanities, will present the keynote talk "'How Shall We Make Beatrice Grow!': Clara Bewick Colby and the Beatrice Public Library Association in the 1870s" at the Beatrice, Nebraska Public Library in honor of Library Week. Bloomberg's research details the formation of one of the oldest public libraries in the American West.
