Hamline offers its students countless opportunities to engage in
independent and collaborative research—including presenting that research to
peers and experts from all across the nation.
More than 40 students attended the prestigious National Conference for
Undergraduate Research, held this year at Weber State University in Ogden,
Utah. The presentations demonstrated the wide range of academic offerings and high impact learning opportunities at Hamline, including everything from art history to zoology.
“It was a great to share my own work as well as gaining perspective in
through attending talks in other disciplines,” Jon Soli, a senior physics and
management double-major, said.
Hamline traditionally sends one of the largest contingents for a school its
size to the national conference each year. Watch a video of last year’s conference participants from Hamline and the work they presented.
