One is a senior who stood tall in the nets all season. The other is a sophomore who made opposing netminders' lives difficult.
Nicole Jones and Corinne Henning drew the attentions of MIAC women's hockey coaches when it came to post-season appreciation. Jones was a rock all season in her 13 starts in goals. Her .940 save percentage ranked second in the MIAC and sixth in all Division III women's hockey, earning her a place on the All-Conference team announced today. She allowed just 26 goals in the 435 shots she faced in 2011-12. Her GAA of 2.00 also ranked third in the league.
Henning was named Honorable Mention. In her first season of hockey, she led the Pipers with 15 goals (seven goals, a team high eight assists). She was also named as Hamline's rep on the Sportsmanship team.
