Pipers Have Prime Time Spotlight With Key Game At Augsburg

The only game on the MIAC slate Monday night is a big one. Hamline's men's BB team, coming off an impressive 91-56 win over Macalester, travels to Si Melby Hall in Minneapolis to face Augsburg. Game time is 7:30 p.m. We have links via Augsburg's website. Click here to watch, listen or simply check in on the stats of the game.

The Pipers have won four of their last five games to move into a tie for fourth place in the league with a 7-4 mark. Augsburg has won four straight games to improve to 8-2 in the conference, a half-game behind co-leaders St. Thomas and Gustavus Adolphus.
The Auggies had the league's bye Saturday and figure to be well-rested. HU coach Nelson Whitmore was able to get some key players rest as well. HU exploded for a 16-2 run at the start of the second half to put the game with the Scots out of reach. Accordingly, Whitmore used his entire bench. 12 different players as HU ran up a season high for points.
On Wednesday, Hamline travels to St. Thomas. They are off Saturday. Through a fluke in the schedule, the Pipers and Auggies will meet again February 1 at Hutton Arena.
