Schneekloth Superb But Pipers Fall, 1-0

Sarah Schneekloth continued her outstanding goaltending Friday night at Warner Coliseum. But her teammates were unable to help her out on their end. The Marshall, Mn native kicked out 33 shots but Alex Meer's goal midway in the final period was the difference as the Piper women's team suffered a 1-0 loss.

Hamline had 24 shots of its own. Ironically, their bets one came just seconds before the Oles scored. But Katie Valimont was stopped at point blank range. The Oles then charged up ice and forged the only marker of the night to drop Hamline to 1-3-1 on the season, 0-2-1 in the MIAC. Jessica Kraus, Billye Nelson and Corinne Henning had three shots each for HU, which was playing its first game of the season at Warner Coliseum.

The same teams meet Saturday night in Northfield.
