The Piper volleyball will go on the road looking for their first conference win Wednesday night against St. Catherine's at the Butler Center. The league's youngest team takes a 6-9 overall record (0-3 MIAC) into the lair of the Wildcats, who are off to a 12-3 start and stand 1-2 in the MIAC. The teams have some common opponents. Both were swept 3-0 at Concordia. Both defeated UW-Stout , Crown and Aurora (Ill). The Pipers split a pair of matches with Bethany Lutheran while the Wildcats won their only meeting against BLC. HU lost a tough 3-2 decision to North Park while the Wildcats were victorious in their meeting.

Hamline has played played some tough non-conference foes in St. Scholastica (currently 12-5 overall) and Wisconsin-River Falls (9-6). This is their only conference action this week. The Pipers head to Dubuque (Iowa) this weekend for four games in a tournament.
