Christiane Reilly, Center for Teaching and Learning, and Kate Borowske, Bush Library, jointly presented, "Apps To Go, No Coding Required" at the New Media Consortium's summer conference in Madison, Wisconsin in mid-June. Borowske also presented "Five Minutes, Five Apps: Sketches for a Scholar's Muse." The presentations came out of their collaboration this past academic year on creating apps for the iPhone. The first five apps are almost ready to be launched and will allow students and faculty to search Hamline databases, including Worldcat Local and Credo Reference; browse the current literature in their disciplines; and get help. They will need beta testers soon, email Borowske
for more information or to volunteer.
