Hartung Appointed by Governor Dayton to Board of School Administrators

Assistant professor in the School of Education Kim Hartung was appointed by Governor Dayton to the Board of School Administrators. The 10-member board created by the Legislature in 2001, with support of Minnesota educational administration organizations, oversees standards for a quality administrator licensing system for public schools and ensures ethical, quality administrators serve the needs of Minnesota citizens. Hartung is the faculty coordinator of administrative licensure in the School of Education. She will begin her 2-year term on the state board in September.
