Hamline to host MSHSL State Track & Field Championships, parking and campus access to be impacted

Hamline will host the 2011 Minnesota State High School League Track and Field Meet on Friday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11. Faculty and staff should note that parking at Hamline will be impacted by this event, as will access to the Klas Center and Walker Fieldhouse.

Thousands of fans and student-athletes are expected to be on campus for the event. Faculty and staff are encouraged to park in the lots on the south end of campus first before filling other lots (to avoid parking difficulties).

You will be asked to show your Hamline ID to a parking attendant in order to park in the Hamline lots. You will also need your Hamline ID to enter Klas Center or Walker Fieldhouse both days (without having to pay the entry fee for the track meet).

Parking will be limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

This is the sixth consecutive year that Hamline will host this event, which takes place from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. both days on Klas Field, located on the north end of Hamline's Saint Paul campus.

Tickets to the event are $10 for adults and $7 for students.
