Wernberg has All-American performance at nationals

Robyn Wernberg turned in an All-American performance in the discus throw as a trio of throwers from the Hamline University women's track and field team competed at the NCAA Division III outdoor track and field national meet in Ohio over the weekend.

Wernberg finished sixth in the discus on Saturday, throwing  44.70 meters (146-08). The top eight finishers earn All-American status.

Becky Culp also competed in the discus throw, finishing 17th overall with a throw of 40.07 meters (131-05).

Brenna Coyle competed in the hammer throw on Friday,  finishing 22nd overall as she threw 46.97 meters (154-01).
