Arrigoni's hat trick propelled the Pipers to the tournament title as Hamline swept the MIAC championships for the year after winning the regular season championship.
It is the second time Arrigoni has won the honor this season and brings the Hamline total to seven athlete of the week awards this year.
Hamline, ranked #9 in the latest USCHO.com national poll released today, advances to the NCAA tournament. The Pipers will play at UW-Superior on Wednesday, March 9, in the first round of the NCAA playoffs. The game is slated to begin at 7:05 p.m. at Wessman Arena in Superior, Wisconsin.
Tickets for the game cost $10. UW-Superior will be doing a pre-sale on-site for tickets from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday and from 12:00 p.m. until the doors open on Wednesday.
Fans who want to reserve tickets via will call may call Tami at the UW-Superior athletic office at 715-395-4693. Tickets purchased and placed at will call may be picked up beginning at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
The Yellowjackets have a record of 16-12-1 this season and lost to St. Norbert in the finals of the NCHA tournament, 2-1.
The Pipers have a record of 16-6-5 and defeated Concordia 5-2 to win the MIAC championship.
The winner of Wednesday's game will advance to the NCAA quarterfinals and will play at St. Norbert on Saturday, March 12.
