Argiannis, the defending outdoor MIAC champion in the event, won the race with a time of 65.04.
The Pipers also had success at longer distances, as Margot Branigan (Jr., Roseville, Minn.) was 1.23 seconds off the NCAA provisional time in the 1500-meter run with a second place finish in 4:40.23. Her time is currently sixth-best in the MIAC.
Jessica Kociscak (So., Anoka, Minn.) finished fifth at the same distance in 4:55.15. Her time is tenth-best in the conference.
In the 3000-meter steeplechase, Freya Fitzer (Sr., North Oaks, Minn.) finished third in 11:58.90. Lauren Howe (So., Siren, Wis.) was fifth in 12:28.63.
A pair of Pipers put together third place finishes in the throws, as Brenna Coyle (Fy., Chisago City, Minn.) was third in the discus and Robyn Wernberg (So., Brainerd, Minn.) was third in the hammer throw.
Coyle had a throw of 38.10 meters (125-0) while Wernberg's toss was 42.87 meters (140-7).
Also in the field events, Katelyn Anderson (So., White Bear Lake, Minn.) was second in the triple jump with a leap of 10-72 meters (35-2). Lynn Robohm (Fy., Rosemount, Minn.) was third in the high jump, clearing 5-1.
