Amici set personal bests in three events and was just 80 points shy of an NCAA provisional point total. There were ten athletes entered in the pentathlon.
She tallied 2,912 points while taking third place in three events and setting personal bests in 55-meter hurdles, high jump and long jump.
In the 55-meter hurdles she finished third with a time of 9.10. She was also third in the high jump with a leap of 1.46 meters (4-9 1/2) and in the shot put with a throw of 9.28 meters (30-5 1/2).
She placed sixth in the long jump at 4.70 meters (15-5) and fourth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:35.78.
The individual events at the MIAC indoor track and field championships will take place on Friday and Saturday.
