The Pipers began the match by winning at second and third doubles. Anna Yarbrough (Fy., Minneapolis, Minn.) and Kelsey Eatherton (So., White Bear Lake, Minn.) were victorious at second doubles, 8-5, while Sara Mitambo (Sr., Minneapolis, Minn.) and Kristen Kiemele (So., Eagan, Minn.) won at third, 8-3.

Eatherton went on to complete a sweep of her matches, winning at fourth singles, 6-0, 6-1.

Senior Liz Gunderson (New Prague, Minn.) provided the fourth Piper point with a 6-4, 6-3 win at second singles.

The Pipers drop to 1-11, 0-6 MIAC with the loss. They will next host St. Catherine on Wednesday, April 15, at 4:00 p.m.
