Sackrison scores goal as Pipers fall in opener

After a scoreless first half, Sackrison broke the deadlock with a goal at 50:15. Her classmate Jackie Skoviak (Farmington, Minn.) was credited with the assist on the score.

Lawrence answered back with the game-tying goal just four minutes later and scored the game-winner with just over six minutes remaining in regulation.

The Pipers open the season at 0-1 overall with the non-conference loss. They remain on the road to play at UW-Oshkosh tomorrow, September 2, at 7 pm.
