Pipers and Wildcats battle to scoreless tie

St. Catherine out-shot Hamline 11-3 in the game, forcing sophomore keeper Liz Stock (Eagan, Minn.) to make six saves, including five in the second half, to preserve the tie. Hamline had two shots on goal, including one in the first overtime.

Hamline head coach Ted Zingman hadn't recorded a tie in his first 44 games at the helm of the Pipers.

The Pipers move to 2-7-1, 0-4-1 MIAC while the Wildcats are now 3-4-2, 0-3-1 MIAC. Hamline will next host UW-Stout on Tuesday, October 6, at 4:00 p.m.
