VIDEO: Goal in final minutes carries Knights over Piper women

Carleton out-shot the Pipers 13-2 in the game, splitting their shots evenly between the two halves. However Piper starting keeper Liz Stock (So., Prior Lake, Minn.) held strong, making seven saves to keep the score tied at 0-0.

The Knight goal at 87:32 came when Linnea Carlson (So., Evanston, Ill.) played a rebound off of the post to put the ball past Stock for the win.

With the conference loss, the Pipers fall to 2-7-0, 0-4-0 MIAC. Carleton improves to 4-4-1, 2-1-0 MIAC. Hamline remains at home in MIAC play to host St. Catherine on Wednesday, September 30, at 4:00 p.m.

Hamline will return to conference play on Wednesday, September 23, when they host Bethel at 4:00 p.m.
