Women's soccer falls to Bethel

Bethel tallied scores at 13:37 and 32:50 in the first half, holding a 2-0 lead at intermission. The second goal of the game came off of a corner kick. Bethel's attack allowed them 12 corner kicks to Hamline's two in the game.

The Royals added their third goal just over 10 minutes into the start of the second half at 55:50.

Piper keeper Liz Stock (So., Savage, Minn.) made six saves in net. The Royals out-shot Hamline 21-6, with the ratio of shots-on-goal being 9-3 in favor of the hosts.

Hamline drops to 2-5-0, 0-2-0 MIAC with the conference loss, while Bethel remains undefeated at 6-0-1, 1-0-1 MIAC. The Pipers return home to Pat Paterson Field on Tuesday, September 22, when they will host St. Thomas at 4:00 p.m.
