Branigan won the race in 14:34.3. Her teammate Jessica Kociscek (Jr., Ramsey, Minn.) finished sixth with a time of 15:12.1.

Sara Holland (So., Dousman, Wis.) crossed the line in 15th with a time of 15:52.7, while in 17th (15:53.9) and 18th (15:55.6) were Rachel Glissmann (Sr., Omaha, Neb.) and Katie Drinane (Sr., Roseville, Minn.).

Also helping the Pipers to their second place team finish were
Rachel Simmer (Sr, Champline Park, Minn.) in 22nd place in 16:20.2 and Carolyne Bocovich (So., Andover, Minn.) in 24th with a time of 16:26.9.
