Piper men complete final day at MIAC championships

Will Khoury-Hanold (Jr., Kingsford, Mich.) touched the wall in 1:57.56 in the morning preliminary swim of the 200 butterfly, earning the sixth seed in the evening final. The time also moved him from seventh to third all-time in that event at Hamline.

During the evening session, he swam to a seventh place finish with a time of 1:58.93.

Jake Burgess (Sr., Oakdale, Minn.) qualified for the consolation final in the 100 freestyle, swimming a 48.85 in the morning session.

In his final during the evening session, Burgess finished tenth overall with a time of 47.93.
