Will Khoury-Hanold (Sr., Kingsford, Mich.), Casey Benford, David Janezih (Sr., Minneapolis, Minn.), and Isak Vartti (Fy., Hugo, Minn.) opened the meet for the Pipers with a fifth place finish in the 200 freestyle relay. They finished with a time of 1:35.83.

Vartti then swam a 5:20.47 to also finish fifth in the 500-yard freestyle, right before Khoury-Hanold won the 200 IM in 2:01.19.

The Pipers will swim in day two of the Great Scot Invitational tomorrow, Saturday, December 5, starting at 10:00 a.m.
