Three different Pipers score in shutout of North Central

In the 38th minutes of the game, junior Dave Donner (Stillwater, Minn.) put a pass from senior Ian Davy (Saint Paul, Minn.) into the net for the visitors' first goal.

Just minutes after resuming play in the second half, at 48:04, Drew Lukas (Sr., South St. Paul, Minn.) moved within two points of becoming Hamline's all-time points scorer. Lukas took advantage of a North Central foul and converted on the ensuing penalty kick to put the Pipers up 2-0.

Hamline's final goal came with less than seven minutes remaining in the game as Moe Tageldin (Jr., Rochester, Minn.) scored an unassisted goal.

Sophomore Zach Nelson (Eagan, Minn.) earned his first win of the season in net while posting four saves.

Lukas now stands at 61 career points with the Pipers. Jacob Helling (2003-06) currently holds the school record for points scored with 63.

The Pipers even their record at 1-1 overall with the non-conference win. They travel to the University of Minnesota-Morris on Saturday, September 5, for a 2:00 p.m. start.
