The two teams played the neutral-site game at UW-Oshkosh on Sunday afternoon.
Augustana scored just two minutes after play began on their only shot-on-goal in the first half. The Pipers weren't able to challenge in the opening 45 minutes, managing one shot but couldn't put one on net.
That all changed in the second half, as the Pipers put nine shots on net, with Lukas scoring on two of them.
His first goal came on an assist from Dave Donner (Jr., Stillwater, Minn.) at 72:51. He then scored the game-winner, unassisted, less than ten minutes later at 82:04.
Sophomore keeper Zach Nelson (Eagan, Minn.) had strong protection from his defenders, as he only had to make one save in the game.
The Pipers evened their record at 3-3 overall while Augustana fell to 2-3. Hamline will open MIAC play at home on Wednesday, September 16, as they host St. Olaf at 4:00 p.m.
