Berenguer tallies four points in Piper road win

Austun Tavis (Jr., Grand Rapids, Minn.) started Hamline's scoring at 3:16 in the first period off of a pair of passes from Alex Contis (Jr., Calabasas, Calif.) and Cole Scattarelli (Sr., Elk River, Minn.). Stevens Point then tied the score just three minutes later for a 1-1 game.

The second goal of the night from Berenguer then came from on assists from Kelly Plude (Jr., Elk River, Minn.) and Hummel at 3:51, putting Hamline up 4-1.  Plude has had an assist in each of the Pipers' first three games.

The hosts scored at 5:21, but Jordan Van Gilder (So., Lino Lakes, Minn.) put the Pipers up by three again at 6:38. Alex Lundbolm (Jr., Roseau, Minn.) and Bett Burgau (Jr., New Ulm, Minn.) were credited with the assists.
