Thrasher, who earned All-MIAC honorable mention honors each of his first three season with the Pipers, capped off his collegiate career by being named to the All-MIAC first team.
He averaged 14.2 points per game (14.4 in MIAC play) to lead the Pipers in scoring this season. He will graduate seventh all-time in scoring at Hamline with 1,360 career points and ninth all-time in rebounds with 452.
Thrasher was seventh in the MIAC in conference scoring and tenth in rebounding (5.7 rebounds per game in both overall and MIAC play).
In late February he was also named a finalist for the prestigious Jostens Trophy.
Hipp averaged 12.0 points per game (13.1 in MIAC play) to finish second on the team in scoring. He also pulled down 8.4 boards per game (9.1 in MIAC play).
He finished eighth in the MIAC in conference scoring and fifth in rebounding.
Senior Nick Hutchinson (Atwater, Minn.) was named to the third annual All-MIAC Sportsmanship team. Members of the team are selected by their coaches and teammates as individuals who demonstrate ideals of positive sportsmanship both on and off the field of competition.
The Pipers finished the 2008-09 season with a record of 9-16, 8-12 MIAC.
