Hipp averaged a double-double (15.0 points per game, 12.7 rebounds per game) in the Pipers' three games last week and turned in a career-best game on Sunday.
In Hamline's 60-58 win at St. Olaf on Wednesday, Hipp led Hamline with 14 points and added 11 rebounds for the double-double. He also had two assists and three blocked shots in the game.
On Sunday during the Pipers' 68-56 victory over Concordia, Hipp had tallied a double-double before the first half was over, scoring 18 points and pulling down 10 boards in the first 20 minutes. He finished the game with 25 points, a career-high 21 rebounds (eight offensive, 13 defensive) and six blocked shots. Prior to Sunday, Hipp's career-high rebounds in a game was 13.
The double-double against Concordia was his fifth of the season and his second in three games.
The Pipers will travel to Bethel this Wednesday, February 4, to take on the Royals at 7:30 p.m.
