The Pipers started quickly on the road, taking the early lead and
maintaining control of the scoreboard until Concordia's first lead,
26-25, at 3:48. The Cobbers led 33-30 at halftime.
The teams battled in the first ten minutes of the second half,
posting three tied scores. After the third tie, 46-46, at 12:49,
Concordia went on a 14-1 run that put them up by 13, 60-47, with just
under eight minutes to play.
Hamline's deficit was cut to five points, 66-61, with two and a half
minutes to play, but the Cobbers opened it back up in the final minutes
as Hamline fouled to attempt to regain possession.

Thousand Oaks, California, on December 29 and 30.
