Pipers fall to Division I Air Force

The Pipers totaled 180.300 points to 188.725 from the Falcons.

Pipers finished three-four-five on the floor exercise behind two gymnasts from Air Force. Sarah Prosen (So., Apple Valley, Minn.) was third with a score of 9.550 and Kristen Weniger (Sr., Eagan, Minn.) finished fourth with a score of 9.525. Brynn Stenslie (Sr., Renton, Wash.) rounded out the top five with a 9.425.

Weniger was second on the vault with a 9.550 and was the highest placing Piper on both the uneven bars and the balance beam. She finish in fifth place on both with a score of 9.175 on the bars and a 9.225 on beam.

Molly Weber (So., Taos, N.M.) scored a personal best 8.900 on the uneven bars for sixth place.

 The Pipers will next compete in the WIAC Championships/NCGA West Regional at Winona State on Friday, March 6. That meet is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
